Lattice Apron / Mesh Apron are a key component of compact spinning. It works in conjunction with suction air flow to filter out shorter fiber from the yarn. The drafted yarn thus produced is of high quality with reduced hairiness and increased strength. The object of aprons is to control the short fibers which are also known as floating fibers to the possible extent and help to produce regular and stronger yarns with greater drafts.
